I felt so well cared for and respected during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Samantha listened to me, and asked permission before doing ANYTHING, she answered my questions thoroughly, and she trusted that I knew my body.
Most importantly, during my labor my husband got to be involved as much as possible and Samantha was so accommodating with that desire.
When my baby had to be hospitalized a couple days after birth Samantha came with us to the emergency room. She helped advocate for me when the ER doctor was treating me badly, and stayed by my side until we were admitted. She helped me figure out how to use the hospital breast pump and asked questions I didn’t even think to ask. I frequently think back to this period of time with such immense gratitude for the way Samantha helped me during the scariest experience of my life. I sincerely don’t know what [we] would’ve done without her.
